2.) Turning your computer off gives your Random Access Memory (RAM) a chance to defragment and increases your computer's speed the next day. Sleep and Hibernate do not do this.
3.) It's good for your computer, because it gives the components a chance to cool down. This should decrease the wear and tear on the computer when they were turned off.
